I wanted to do some color blocking today by mixing a shade of purple with some neon lime and throwing in some gray in the mix but my dress was super short so I layered it on top of a bright yellow skirt to add some length and it actually looked like it was part of the dress so its a cool idea if you want to mix two different pieces from your closet and make them look totally different.
Also if you are not so sure color blocking is for you, this is the perfect opportunity to take baby steps and play with what you already have. Now the icing on the cake was this super cute neon necklace from forever 21. It was only $12 so again if you don’t want to invest too much on a trend, this is the way to do it.
